Editorial Policy

Last updated: August 18, 2026

Longboard Bible exists to help riders make safer, better-informed decisions. Editorial work is led by Juan Campuzano, who has been longboarding since 2010 and rode for international brands between 2013 and 2018. Read more on the author page.

How we research

We distinguish hands-on experience from desk research. When a product has been ridden or measured by us, the article should state what was tested and under what conditions. Products not tested personally are evaluated through manufacturer documentation, established technical principles and reputable independent sources.

Recommendations and rankings

Recommendations consider rider level, intended discipline, construction, dimensions, component compatibility, safety, value and availability. We do not treat a higher ABEC bearing number or a higher price as proof of better real-world performance. Product roundups should explain who each option suits, its limitations and the basis for inclusion.

Accuracy, updates and corrections

Technical claims should be attributable or reproducible. We review important guides when products, standards or evidence change. If you find an error, email info@longboardbible.com with the page and supporting information. Material corrections will be made promptly and transparently.

Editorial independence

Brands, retailers and advertisers do not receive favorable conclusions in exchange for payment, samples or access. Commercial relationships must be disclosed near the relevant content. Editorial conclusions remain ours.

Safety

Longboarding carries inherent risk. We avoid presenting advanced techniques as risk-free and encourage helmets, appropriate protective equipment, equipment inspection, progressive learning and compliance with local rules.
